Good Morning Villagers.
Well it looks like our ‘Lady of the Loch’ has started on her migration as she hasn’t been seen at Lowes since Friday morning. Her job is now complete for this year and she has raised yet another beautiful Osprey chick, Blue44, who is as we know, her 49th chick to fledge.
It is now Laddie’s turn to continue and complete the final stages of Blue44′s growing up, so to speak.Laddie will stay around a little longer though as he shows/teaches his Son how to fish etc, and will carry on providing him with fish while he tries to get to grips with the fishing technique that he will have to master once he is out in the big wide world.
I cant believe we have come almost full circle again as the close of our Osprey season will soon be over for another year.
I’d like to wish Lady a safe journey to her wintering grounds, stay strong, stay safe and stay healthy and if you can, come home to us next year.
