Help the Village  raise funds for Roy Dennis’s Osprey Tracking Project

We have decided to try and help raise funds for the Highland Foundation for Wildlife’s Osprey tracking project.   Roy Dennis is hoping to sat tag four new ospreys in the Highlands this year and he is appealing for help with funding. The GPS satellite tags are now costing in the UK just over £3000 each and the annual download costs are about £700. To find out more about the project visit Roy’s website at www.roydennis.org

So we need Ideas to raise money and quickly as he will need to have the tracking devices in place before the chicks are ready to fledge.  If you have any ideas on how we can achieve this (does anyone know a company that would like to sponsor a bird for example) please contact me Peter Ferns admin@ladyoftheloch.co.uk
