Follow below for all three operating systems
Press PrtSc/SysRq this button is just like the button on your camera that you press to take your picture.
Now click onto the Start button which is normally located on the bottom left of your screen.
This will open up your Start Menu, look for a programme called Paint, if it’s not on your start menu then click onto All Programmes; this will then open up a menu of all your programmes and look for Accessories, and once you find it, click onto it and this will open another sub folder, and where you will see Paint, click onto that and this will then open up your Paint Programme.
For XP/ VISTA only
At the top you will see Edit, click onto that which will open drop down menu where you will see Paste, click that and then the Screen Shot Picture you took will then show up on the screen now.
To save this picture now, go back up to the top where you will see File, click this which will open up another drop down menu and you should then see Save As, click this one NOT Save.
This will now give you the option to give your picture a File Name (Title of pic) and also the type of file you want to save it as Save As Type, click onto the drop down arrow there and choose to save the file as a JPEG as this is the most used and accepted programme for uploading picture to your album
If you want to take more screen shots, leave your Paint programme open and minimise it. You will have to clear the image from the Paint programme. Go to File, click for the drop down menu and you will see New, click this and it clears the paint screen ready for your next screen shot. All you have to do now is to take your next picture, and at the bottom of your screen you should see the icon for your Paint programme, click onto it and this will restore the Paint, and then just follow instructions from above for XP/VISTA

For Windows 7
You will see what looks like a clip board with Paste below it, click this and your picture will now appear. Now at the top of your screen you will see where it says Untitled-Paint, to the left side of it is a little paint pallet, and a Purple Square Icon, if you hover over this it will say Save As, click onto this and it will open up your Library-Pictures, where your picture will be placed.
This will now give you the option to give your picture a File Name (Title of pic) and also the type of file you want to save it as Save As Type, click onto the drop down arrow there and choose to save the file as a JPEG as this is the most used and accepted programme for uploading picture to your album

All you have to do now is to take your next picture, and at the bottom of your screen you should see the icon for your Paint programme, click onto it and this will restore the Paint, and then just follow instructions from above for Windows 7
